Why
CEE is so important for Symantec?
How are
Symantec helping development of the region?
Talking
about CEE, we see a huge business opportunity for us in the
future, esp. in the new EU members joined in April 2004. We
believe, the eastern enterprises are in process to adopt to
the western standards and increase spendings into IT security
significantly in the next couple of years. Therefore from
our side , we have been heavily investing into the eastern
european countries since the last 10 years. New Symantec offices
opened in Russia, Poland, Czech republic and Hungary, and
Symantec is widely recognized in those countries as the leading
vendor in the security industry.
